West Ham United are closing in on a deal to bring Brentford winger Said Benrahma to the Premier League.
According to reports, the two clubs are working towards a transfer fee which could eventually rise to the region of £30m.
The 25-year-old enjoyed a brilliant season of football for Brentford last year, helping them to almost one win into the Premier League.
Brentford ultimately suffered play-off final heartbreak, and it became inevitable that their talented forward line, including now-Aston Villa star Ollie Watkins, would be broken up.
And Sky Sports is now reporting that West Ham are in advanced talks with Brentford, who could sign Benrahma in a deal which could rise to the region of £30m.
According to 90min, West Ham have already submitted a £17m plus add-ons bid for the electric winger but Brentford have set their asking price at £25m.
Crystal Palace are also rumored to be monitoring the Algerian star as the transfer deadline of October 16 fast approaches.
It appears that an agreement has been reached between the two clubs and Benrahma would leave Brentford after only two years at the club.
Brentford captured the winger from Nice, in a deal believed to be worth a ridiculous £2.7m.
Benrahma was an instant hit for the fans at Brentford with his mesmerizing dribbling and terrific pace.
The right winger scored an impressive 10 goals in his debut campaign in the Championships, before improving on that figure and scoring 17 in his second year with Brentford.
