The award is for international applicants who are F1 or J1 visa holders and have completed an undergraduate degree at the UMKC School of Computer Science and Engineering. Applicants selected for the scholarship will receive the difference between Missouri resident and non-Missouri resident tuition plus $1,500/year.

Applicants must be a full-time student in the School of Computing and Engineering

Applicants must be F1 or J1 visa holder.

Application Process

Applicants can apply to the UMKC either through the university portal or through the general application.

First-time applicants accepted into the applied program will be automatically considered.

Applicants must submit the following documents to the university:

  4. Financial Statement
  5. Immigration Papers
  6. Additional Materials

Applicants must have at least 3.0 GPA from a U.S community college

Applicants must submit the English proficiency scores (minimum score of 79 iBT TOEFL or 6.0 IELTS).
