Matuidi joins Inter Miami from Juventus

Blaise Matuidi has completed his move to MLS side Inter Miami on a free transfer from Juventus.

The World Cup winning midfielder, who played a pivotal role as France’ team won the 2018 World Cup, left Juventus on Wednesday after three years with the Serie A champions.

It was reported by Goal that the French Man had reached an agreement with the Serie A Champions to end his contract early, as it should have been due to expire in 2021 in a move to free up some funds on the wage bill.

Matuidi, 33, comes with a wealth of experience and achievements as he reunites with his former Paris Saint Germain teammate, David Beckham at Inter Miami.

Blaise Matuidi joined the Serie A club in 2017 from PSG where he won four Ligue 1 titles and went on to lift a further three Serie A titles in Turin.

However, the highpoint of his career was winning the 2018 World Cup with France in Russia. He played a key part as he featured five times as they went on to lift the trophy.
