On this week’s transfer news update, Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is still waiting for a call from Barcelona, while Man City look set to sign an attacker.

Aubameyang’s future at the Emirates stadium is unclear, with the Gabonese star out of contract next summer.

And the Gabon international seems to be biding his time before signing a new long term contract at the Emirates.

Aubameyang is prepared to wait until he gets an offer from Barcelona before committing his long term future at Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Footy Area reports the 31-year-old is considered an alternative if Barcelona cannot sign Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez.

Aubameyang has scored a total of 25 goals in 42 games for Arsenal this in all competitions this season.

🇫🇷 Loris Karius seems set to end his mystery by putting an end to his disastrous Liverpool memories with a move away from England. Footy Area says the Premier League champions want €7.7m (£6m) for the goalkeeper amid interest from Olympic Marseille.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is set to leave Southampton this summer. The Telegraph reports that Everton’s bid of around £26m for the player has been accepted, but Tottenham have also submitted another offer for him.
