Son Heung-Min dismisses rumors of Jose Mourinho losing the Tottenham dressing room
Son Heung-min has laughed off suggestions that Jose Mourinho has lost the Tottenham dressing room following a bad run of results.
Spurs have lost five of their last six games in all competitions, dropping to ninth in the Premier League table and being eliminated from the FA Cup.
While Tottenham clearly have on-field issues, Son Heung-Min, who is having his best club season to date, has defended Jose Mourinho and dismissed rumours of unrest behind the scenes.

Speaking ahead of Spurs’ Europa League tie with Wolfsberger, Son said: “The rumour is just rumours. Our dressing room is fantastic.
“It’s just about results. We’re happy if we win and sad if we lose. The dressing room has not changed though. Everyone is happy and focused on the games ahead. What can I said, that’s a bad rumour.”
When asked to pinpoint the reason behind Spurs‘ recent run, Son Heung-Min added that it’s not just Jose Mourinho who should be shouldering the blame
“It’s obviously also the player’s responsibility,” he said. “We have a conversation as players and we know we can do better. It’s very sad that in the league we dropped points when we had the opportunity to win, but football is not that easy and you have to concentrate until the final whistle.
“When you don’t win the mood is down but the players want to fight until the end. The season changes so quick. We were top of the table and two weeks after that it’s another team. Things change so quick. We have to be focused and we have to be positive.”
Son was also asked about any updates on signing a new deal at Tottenham, but insisted that now is not the time to talk about his contract.
“I think it’s a bit unfair to speak about a new contract at the moment,” Son said. “I’m focused on my team and working hard as a player in the team. It’s a bit unfair to speak about a new contract.”
