Juventus midfielder Aaron Ramsey is among a host of unwanted players at Juventus and has been transfer listed by his new manager Andrea Pirlo.
Following Maurizio Sarri’s sack on Saturday, Andrea Pirlo took over the job as head coach after Sarri was shown the door following a poor run in the Champions League.
The Mirror now report that although Pirlo hasn’t been in charge for long, it is understood he wants to remold the squad into one capable of competing in the Champions League next season. As part of the restructuring process, Andrea Pirlo is looking to offload quite a number of his first team players, with Ramsey part of those who are free to leave.
Andrea Pirlo is understood to want to do away with all underperforming first team players, so as to make way for more vibrant playmakers capable of moving the ball around in a fluid mannner.
Pirlo has already allowed Blaise Matuidi to leave Juventus this summer to join MLS side Inter Miami.
Ramsey may have only joined Juventus on a free transfer last summer, but he has failed to pin down a starting position for Juventus. And to cut the story short, he is not a very good passer capable of creating chances or dictating attack movements.
Juventus are looking to include Ramsey and two other unwanted players plus cash in their bid to sign Paul Pogba from Manchester United this summer.
In addition to Aaron Ramsey, Pirlo has asked Gonzalo Higuain, Daniele Rugani, and Mattia De Sciglio to start sourcing for other clubs, as he has made it clear that they play no part in his plans for the future.
