The record was reached on Saturday at Old Trafford when they hosted Bournemouth, with Rashford slotting in a cool penalty to give United the lead after just 35 minutes of play, before Anthony Martial doubled their lead on the stroke of half time.
By scoring, the pair both reached the 20 goal mark for the current season. A feat which no Manchester United duo has been able to achieve since the 2010/2011 season, when Berbatov and Hernandez lit up Old Trafford.
