Premier league Player of the Month list for July
Bruno Fernandes and Anthony Martial

The English Premier league have released the final six man list for June’s EA Sports Player of the Month award. With Manchester United and Wolves producing two players each in the list.

The two teams have enjoyed a bright side to life since the restart of top flight football. Wolves especially have won their last three games in the league, and for that, their teams provided four out of the final six men. Among them are fellow nominees Allan Saint-Maximin and Danny Ings.

Manchester United have not lost a match since the league restart. They drew 1-1 with Tottenham on the resumption day, followed by back to back victories against Sheffield United and Brighton.

Manchester United new boy and winner of last month’s Premier league Player of the Month award, Bruno Fernandes has been super instrumental to their rise in form in recent times. He is also the firm favorite to win this month’s edition after he has netted three goals and provided a further two assists since the restart of the Premier league.

Bruno’s teammate Anthony Martial finds himself in the list after he scored the first hat-trick since the restart. He recorded his first hat-trick for the club in that match against Sheffield United to cap off a wonderful display.

As for Wolves, It has been a wonderful ride since the league resumed. With maximum points from three games thus far without even conceding one goal in those three games. And they have Conor Coady to thank for that with some commanding performances in the heart of their defense. Wolves striker Raul Jimenez has also supported their cause with two goals, which includes an only goal victory against Bournemouth.

Joining these four players are Newcastle United’s Allan Saint-Maximin, who has been exceptional since the restart, and Southampton’s Danny Ings.

Saint-Maximin has been phenomenal in his individual performance for Newcastle. He most recently supplied three assists in his last match against Bournemouth. Danny Ings has so far scored three goals and provided one assist in his three games, helping Southampton climb up thirteen points clear off the relegation zone. Danny Ings has also score 18 Premier league goals this season, placing him second behind Aubameyang and Leicester’s Jamie Vardy.
