According to Nigerian media outlet Footy Area, Bayer 04 Leverkusen manager Peter Bosz stated that Kai Havertz is more than willing to remain in Germany with Leverkusen. He also said clearly that the player is not thinking too much about all the speculations surrounding his future.

Footy Area also reports that Leverkusen’s manager Peter Bosz has insisted that Chelsea target Kai Havertz is not bothered about all the rumors about him at the moment.

Bosz continues by saying, “I certainly haven’t gotten the impression that this may be his last game for the club. As he continues to be under contract with us at the moment, and until the end of the season. Which definitely includes the DFB Pokal Cup final next month, and the Europa League game against Rangers in August. Kai Havertz is quite willing to stay with us at Leverkusen.”

Chelsea have been very busy in the transfer window already this season, with top profile acquisitions which includes RB Leibzig’s talisman Timo Werner, and Ajax winger Hakim Ziyech. The London club have just finished serving a two year transfer ban, and are now very keen to add Kai Havertz to their already potent chest of players at Stamford bridge.

Blues’ manager Lampard has confirmed that Germany international Havertz can only get better in the next couple of seasons. And has tagged the player as the best possible replacement to Eden Hazard.

Chelsea would certainly do well to sign such a promising talent for his current value, as it could well turn out to be a bargain in a few years time. Considering the youngsters quality.
