Man Utd will not receive a €15m transfer fee from Inter for Alexis Sánchez, as the Chilean closes in on a permanent move to the San Siro.
Sánchez was shipped out to Inter on loan last summer, but was sidelined for the most part of 2019 with a dislocated ankle.
However, since returning from injury, the Chilean has shown glimpses of the Sánchez that persuaded Man United to pay him the mammoth sum of £450,000 weekly to bring him to Old Trafford from Arsenal.
Alexis Sánchez put in his best performance on loan, and has impressed the Inter board to make his loan transfer permanent, after scoring a total of 3 goals and contributing a further 7 assists in just 13 appearances.

Footy Area had earlier reported that the supposed permanent deal would see Inter part with €15m, but this morning, Inter opted to twist the deal in their own favor.
However, according to Nigerian journalist Esiwe Chosen, the both parties have reached a final agreement and another deal has been struck, but Manchester United will not receive a penny.
Esiwe Chosen believes that Alexis Sánchez will fly back to England this morning to terminate his remaining two year contract with Manchester United worth over £40m before signing a new three year contract with Inter.
Although Manchester United will not receive a dime from the deal, they will surely be the happier of the two teams, as they will save over £40m in total wages to be paid to Sánchez for the next two years
This deal will enable United to free up the wage bill to land long term transfer target Jadon Sancho from Dortmund.
Borussia Dortmund and Man United are getting very close to agreeing a deal for the English winger, in a move which will prove to be a blockbuster this summer.
Alexis Sánchez has now decided to turn his back on his Old Trafford nightmare and start afresh in Italy. Sánchez only scored 3 goals in 32 appearances for the Red Devils.
